Catch and release is the watchword aboard the 6 boats in the fleet. The crews do this with care and have developed a valuable skill when it comes to unhooking, photographing, and releasing a fish in the best conditions to ensure its survival.

Biodiversity

Rich seabed

The Radama Islands offer an extremely favourable seabed for capturing the giant trevally (ignobilis) for which Madagascar’s waters are famous. Sailfish, black and blue marlin, dogtooth, yellowfin, striped, amberjack, king mackerel, barracudas, and dozens of species of grouper, snapper, sharks, or trevally complete the list.
